What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a naturally relaxed state of mind. Everyone has experienced some form of hypnosis in their life. This is commonly referred to as being in a trance, where you tune out anything you are not focused on. It can be experienced when concentrating on a task, driving while absorbed in your thoughts, reading a good book, or watching a movie.

I’m a very analytical person and don’t relax easily – can I be Hypnotized?

I am trained in advanced techniques that ensure that anyone who wants to be hypnotized and can follow instructions will be hypnotized quickly.

How will I know if I am hypnotized?

I will run several checks to ensure that you are hypnotized. You may not think that you are hypnotized because you are completely aware during the session. It’s always fun to start seeing changes start to happen after your session. They’ll happen “without thinking”. That’s the power of your subconscious mind.

How does hypnosis work?

When you are in an awake, aware state, your mind is resistant to change. With hypnosis, you have the opportunity to get below the surface of your conscious thoughts and limiting beliefs and gain access to your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind will much more easily accept new ideas and behaviors. You are in essence re-programming yourself to quickly and efficiently meet your goals.

Everyone has far greater potential than they know. They just need help from a trained Hypnosis Professional to help them to unlock the answers within.

Is hypnosis safe?

Yes! Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. You are always in control and I will ensure that you feel completely comfortable at all times.

How many hypnosis sessions will it take for me to see results?

Most people start seeing results after the very first session with Burgoon Hypnosis. The average number of sessions required to achieve your goals is generally four to six sessions. However, everyone is different and has different issues to tackle. Once we have discussed your personal goals and aspirations, I can give you a better idea of what to expect.

Will the results last?

Yes. Hypnosis deals with the causes, not just the symptoms. Most people try to make changes by using willpower alone. However, our Core Beliefs about what we are capable of and what we deserve are stored in the subconscious mind. Hypnosis can access the subconscious mind and rid it of any unwanted habits, thoughts or sabotaging beliefs, and replace them with new positive concepts and habits. This ensures permanent results.
